You can find almost any food you like in Singapore.. Western? Peranakan? Chinese? etc. Just name it!

But still, we can’t just eating-out everyday, for the financial reason :P
Of course, there were still lots of places to eat with reasonable price. But after years, variation of food became one of the issues.

So, we do varying our options. Sometimes, we just dine out. And when we’re ‘tired’ dine out for days *sometimes even for weeks”, we try food catering, and sometimes, of course home cooking.

For Nux, home cooking is always the best option, because he doesn’t need to think or decide where we should go for our dinner every night :D

But for me, it is a bit challenging. Cooking is not one of my hobbies :). I just don’t get the pleasure of cooking. It needs almost 2 hours to prepare from cleaning the vegetables till washing the cooking utensils after that. Yet, we only take less than 10 minutes to finish our food. O my…

And Nux’s term for ‘home-cooked’ is definitely not makes it easier for me. For him, the ‘home-cooked’ means REALLY home-cooked. In short, he doesn’t like the ready made ingredients.. so, I have to prepare fresh onions, fresh chilies, fresh bla bla bla… :)

But all my ‘hard-work’ are always fully-paid when I see he really enjoy my simply-made cooking. And sometimes, he even help me to wash the dishes. *yipeee!!*

One day, when I already finished cooking but Nux haven’t reached home yet, I just grabbed my camera and started to take pictures of my cooking. And I found this is more interesting than the cooking itself. Hehe..
And since that day, if I still have time after cook, I’ll spend some time to take picture of my cooking.

I admit, this is not about me to remember what I’ve cooked. This is more about me encourage myself to keep cooking at home. Because I know, after cooking, I’ll have ‘new objects’ to snap.. hehe.. what a strange me :D

And by the by, don’t ask me the recipe, because I never had one. I just think what I want to cook, and ‘imagine’ what should I put inside, and trust my ‘feeling’ for the rest.. hehe… And I even never try a taste in the middle of cooking. The moment Nux knows the food’s taste is also the moment when I know it, too.. :P Luckily, so far so good.. no funny things happened.. y.e.t… :D
