Through my windows
I really don’t know why I do love the sky so much. Not only the sky, but everything related to the sky.. be it the color (blue, white), and everything in the sky; the rainbow, the stars, the moon, the sunrise (I seldom catch this one though :P), the sunset, the cloud, even the rain drops that falling from the sky.
Maybe this explain why I prefer my mandarin name than my official Indonesian name :)
“Yin” (should be “Yun”, actually :P) = “雲“ or “云” = “cloud” in english
Flashback to when we’re looking for our first house couple years ago, my main criteria is : I must see the sky, unblock.. the house must be bright with the morning sun shine. And Nux share the same thought with me. So, no bargain at all in this point.
Indeed, it’s a truly blessing from God that we can get this house. I don’t mind that I have to ‘sacrifice’ my others criteria, such as walk-in wardrobe, nice kitchen, balcony etc as long as we can have a bright house.
Everyday, I enjoy every ray of light that comes in our living room and bedroom through our windows in the morning.
And the best spot for me in our house is the study room; the place I do my projects, browsing internet, have a phone call with my family, chatting with friends, listening to music, et cetera. And the best moment is always around 5pm - 7.30pm..
The moment when the sky turn gold, the wind turn breeze, and the sunshine touch our bookcase.. it just .. beautiful..
Sometimes, it so beautiful that I can’t resist to take photos of it. Just snapshots. Not the professional shots with the too-complicated-for-me aperture, ISO, white-balance whatsoever written in the photography handbook.. :D. I just love to snap, and take a look again.. and again..
I love it.. I just love it, hence today suddenly I think, that I have to make a folder just to put all the pictures I took, through my windows :) It maybe looks boring for others because it always taken from the same spots, but still... for me.. every day is special, every capture is unique...
Isn’t our God wonderful? He is the one who creates this world.. everything.. the nicest one.. the best one.. all without a flaw.
Hope someday I'll have a chance to witness the falling stars and the auroras in the sky... :)
